The Quality Management System of KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH was established and applied according ISO 9001 in 1993.

In 2003, the existing quality management system has been adapted successfully to ISO 9001:2000.

Since November 2003 our company is certified according ISO 9001:2000 by TÜV CERT.

Our quality management system is the basis for Development, Design, Manufacture and Sale for plants and machinery in the fields of: Cement Industry, Mineral Processing, Coal Beneficiation, Spare Parts Department, Research& Development Centre on a very high qualitylevel.

KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Cologne stands for 150 years of successful mechanical and plant engineering for primary industries worldwide. Since its establishment in 1856 the company has developed from a mechanical engineering workshop to become a globally operating engineering company with its own manufacturing capacities for core equipment.

Right from the start, inventiveness and a pioneering spirit shaped the activities of the business and thus laid the foundation stone for the company’s technological leadership in the fields of cement technology and processing technology for coal and ores.

KHD Humboldt Wedag supplies complete and partial plant systems as well as machinery and equipment worldwide for the manufacture of cement and the processing of coal and minerals, whether for new plant or for redevelopments and capacity increases. The service and product spectrum ranges from planning and design through to delivery, assembly, commissioning and after sales service.

The Competence Centre in Cologne with its 500 employees and a total of 900 employees worldwide form the prerequisite in the KHD Humboldt Wedag International group for maintaining and expanding its technological leadership and its proximity to customers and their needs. The internationality is underlined by having its own strong companies in countries and regions such as China, India, the Middle East, Russia, the USA and others.
